Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month is observed throughout the month of April. This observance sheds light on the criminal nature of animal abuse and neglect, urging action and compassion.
Throughout the month, Animal Services and El Paso Police will work to educate the community about how to identify and report types of animal cruelty and neglect, and ways the community can become involved in saving lives of our pets.
